Sachs Media Group was named the top health care public relations firm in Florida and 33rd in the nation by the O’Dwyer’s PR Report with health care clients ranging from global pharmaceutical companies to health insurance companies and HMOs. Earlier this year, the firm also was honored with two national awards for its health care-related social media work.

Over the years, the firm has represented a broad spectrum of health care clients, including global pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, health insurers, health advocacy organizations and state agencies that set health policy. Sachs Media Group also has built successful public education campaigns to effect health changes from obesity prevention and access to medications to drowning prevention, the H1N1 influenza virus pandemic and food allergy awareness.
Among its current health care clients are Florida Healthy Kids Corp., Florida Blue and Capital Health Plan, the Tallahassee-based HMO that is ranked one of the top in the country.
Earlier this year, Sachs Media Group received the 2013 National “Gold” Bulldog Award for Health Care Social Media Campaign for the firm’s work on the Water Quality & Health Council’s “Healthy Pools” Campaign. The firm also took home the “Bronze” award for the Best Online/Social Media Community of the Year for the Consumer Federation of the Southeast’s “Protect People with Brain Injuries” campaign.
