We’re especially excited because today we get to celebrate the accomplishments of one of our own rising stars. Today, the PR Council named our cherished colleague and Senior Account Executive Zoe Linafelt a “PR Champion.” One of only 26 public relations professionals in the country selected for the prestigious honor, Zoe exemplifies what it means to be a public relations champion.
PR Council member firms nominate outstanding young professionals for the recognition, with winners selected for consistently displaying the hard work, dedication and merit required to excel in the field of public relations. Most importantly, the PR Council selects nominees who inspire other PR professionals through their passion for the craft.
Now in our 20th year, we serve our clients through offices in Tallahassee, Orlando, Boca Raton and Washington, D.C. We have deep experience in working successfully with clients to design and execute effective public relations and advertising campaigns that produce measurable results and leverage significant additional value.
Zoe joined the Sachs Media Group team as an intern in January 2010 and quietly but brightly shone as a gifted writer and editor, strategic planner and, most importantly, a caring and kind colleague. After graduating summa cum laude from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in English, Zoe joined the Sachs Media team full-time.
In her five years working at Sachs Media Group, Linafelt has added multiple layers to her skill set. An accomplished public relations executive, project coordinator, video producer and event planner, she has proven time and again her ability to take on any challenge with grace and a smile. To say that Zoe inspires other public relations professionals would be an understatement. She continues to be a true leader for the firm’s newest employees and interns, providing wise guidance and professional counsel.
Her work with the firm has deepened her knowledge of a broad range of topics including branding and marketing, children’s issues, agriculture, health care and finance. Zoe is also an active member of the Capital Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association, currently serving as Programs Committee Chair.
