What news stories do Floridians really care about? And which Florida news outlets are dominating the social media landscape?
To answer these burning questions, our digital media gurus analyzed the most viral Florida news of this week — curated by views, comments and shares — to find out “What’s Trending in Florida News?”
While TV stations claimed all ten spots atop this week’s “What’s Trending in Florida News” Facebook rankings, they split the Twitter rankings with newspapers.
Four TV stations — WSVN 7, WPLG Local 10, WJXT News4Jax, and WESH 2 News — appeared on both top-10 rankings (Facebook and Twitter). One newspaper, Tampa Bay Times, came close though — ranking top-10 on Twitter and 14th on Facebook.
